Frequently Asked Questions

When trying to set up a new user account, I received a message stating, “User Already Exists” but I do not have a user ID or password. What do I do?
Either your account is waiting for approval or you are using the same email address as another registered user in your company.
A user must have a unique email address to set up an account. If your company does not provide individual email addresses, you may need to create one. For security reasons, it is necessary to send your password or user ID to a unique email address.
You may need to ask your security contact to approve the account. If your company does not have a security contact or you need assistance, call the Employer Call Center at (800) 850-6442.

While trying to request a password, I received the following message: “Missing Questions and Answers in profile.” What does that mean?
The first time you logged into your account, you may not have answered to two security questions. These security questions are required when using the link to request a forgotten user ID or password. To complete the Security Question and Answer section, take the following action:
Send an email to Web security by going to the Employer home page and clicking [Contact Us]. Select the link that allows users to send an email if they forgot or need to reset their password. Put Forgot Password in the subject line. In the body of the message, include your name and user ID and that you need to request a password reset. Once you log in with your new password and have agreed to the policy terms, you will be directed to the "My Profile" page. Scroll down to the bottom of page and answer the two security questions. Click [Submit] and [Employer Home].
